abstract: This report is intended to provide a comprehensive description of protocols as well as
technical guidance related to DFO's Gulf region commercial finfish and shrimp
fisheries sampling program. In particular, it aims to provide all the necessary
information required by both novice and experienced samplers to obtain high quality
data. These data are used, among other things, to assess the stock status and
exploitation potential of marine fish and shrimp in the sothern Gulf of St.
Lawrence.
